Incline Railway Tickets

Take a ride on one of the steepest passenger railways in the world - Lookout Mountain's Incline Railway. Known as "America's Most Amazing Mile," The Incline's trolley-style cars climb through the natural beauty surrounding historic Lookout Mountain at a breathtaking 72.7% grade - straight up! Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic views of the mountains and valleys from the observation windows on the train as well as the panoramic views from the observation tower at The Incline's top station.

Due to an upgrade to the ticketing website, tickets starting on November 1st or later will not be available until the upgrade is complete on November 1st. Thank you for your patience as we make this transition.

Boarding Information

*All boarding for the Incline Railway begins at the Bottom Station - 3917 St. Elmo Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37409. 

Entry times for the boarding queue are every 30 minutes. Guests may enter the queue up to 30 minutes past their booked entry time. Please note: the last round trip leaves 40 minutes prior to closing.
